A Cannabis Curious Marketing Professional

I started this blog because of my interest in the commercial opportunities, and challenges, of legal cannabis along the entire supply chain (B2B) and consumer path to purchase (B2C). The business opportunities related to medical and recreational cannabis are mind-boggling, complicated even more by multiple levels of government in each country attempting to control and benefit from this new cash crop. This blog aims to help marketers navigate this new and ever evolving industry. 

I have a track record of coming up with marketing solutions and programs that deliver impact and results. For over 16 years I have helped lead FUSE Create. We have become one of Canada’s largest and most successful independent agencies, delivering ground-breaking solutions that continuously exceed the expectations of Canadian and multinational brands such as CIBC, Canadian Tire, Amgen,  AstraZeneca, Hyundai, Ricola, Toronto 2015 Pan Am Games, Prestige Consumer Healthcare, AB InBev and Tetley.

Most recently, I’ve led the growth of the cannabis practice at FUSE. Under my leadership we’ve assembled a suite of Canadian & US cannabis clients, including licensed producers and suppliers to the industry.  I’m continuously invited to all the major conferences and, in addition to this site, have published white papers on important industry issues.

I also have a love for startup ventures, some of which include Vet Success, Hip Digital, and Soft Gravity; and for giving back, having served on the board of the True Patriot Love Foundation, a private sector fundraising initiative that supports the military families of Canadian soldiers and veterans. I have a specific interest in how cannabis, in different form factors, can help soldiers and veterans suffering from PTSD.
